custom elements you add. But don’t worry. We can find you the perfectly beautiful home, at a price you can afford.

Q. Does the home need to go on a foundation?

All new homes need a foundation. That can be a concrete slab, crawl space, or a full basement.

Q. I have heard the LOWEST PRICE VERSUS BEST PRICE? What does this mean?

We hear this all the time - Builder A quotes a lower price than Builder B for the same home. How can that be? This happens for a few reasons.

  1. The plans being quoted are not exactly the same plan when you look closely. And it’s hard to spot the differences until the house is built and you’re not happy.
  2. Homes built only to the National Building Code cost less than homes built to a higher standard. Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. We can build to minimum or maximum quality standards, whatever you want. We use an easy-to-understand Good, Better, and Best program so you clearly understand what you’re getting and the price.
  3. Turnkey can mean different things to different people. It doesn’t mean, though, an all-inclusive package as you might expect. That’s why we give you clear information and reference documents when you purchase a home with us. You will know all of the items and services that are included and those that are not.
  4. Type of quote. Others present low prices upfront but use per-square-foot or allowances to work out your final price. Lots of surprises in your final cost. Harmony Groves doesn’t do that. Our pricing is firm and guaranteed, so there are no surprises. All of our quotes are based on what you have asked us to include in your new home. Simple.
